The area of research “Operations Management” proposed by the Master’s program in Production Engineering on the UFSCar campus in Sorocaba includes the interfaces between the areas of manufacturing systems management.

Line of Research in Production Systems Management
This line of research aims to generate and disseminate knowledge related to planning and production systems management in decision-making, operational, tactical and strategic levels. Thus, research projects involve designing and researching supporting tools for the planning, scheduling and control of production and logistics, and also address topics related to quality, work, sustainability and organizational engineering, as well as the economic and financial evaluation and value management in production systems.
